Why swim in plastic when you can swim in wool?

Hello and welcome to Swimm.

The original contemporary wool swimwear brand established in 2018.

Swimm is an independently owned boutique sustainable swimwear brand made in Australia.

The fabric is produced from Australian merino wool and production, packaging and shipping is all based in Melbourne.

The super fine, high quality wool is sourced from a RWS Responsible Wool Standards accredited farm and is knitted by an Ethical Clothing Australia accredited bespoke textile mill.

The dye in the fabric is made using low toxic and low allergen dye which is accredited with OEKO-TEX.

Production is made by an independently contracted seamstress and only makes small batches for high quality control.

The packaging we use is 100%  recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. 

Why swim in merino wool? 

It's a natural fibre fabric, so it  breaks down naturally, unlike most other sustainable swimwear fabrics that are made entirely from plastic, albeit recycled fishing nets, bottles or polyester fabrics.

The fabric has thermal qualities so keeps you warm in cool weather and cool in warm weather. 

The swimwear is all fully lined with the same wool fabric and dries fast when you get out of the water.

Swimm's larger and well established competitors have copied our product at a cheaper price point, using inferior fabrics with a high synthetic fabric ratio whilst Swimm proudly has the highest quality and most comfortable swimwear with a 96% wool to 4% elastane ratio woven in a 4 way stretch for full movement in the water.
